Noriyuki „Pat“ Morita starb letzten Donnerstag im Alter von 73 Jahren (E! Online).
Überrascht war ich, dass das auch M3nt0r und Ensellitis eine Notiz wert war. Die Rolle des Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kid (imdb) brachte ihm 1985 eine Oscar-Nominierung für die beste Nebenrolle.
Miyagi-Do-Karate und den Kranich lernt nur, wer artig den Zaun streicht und die Traumautos poliert („Wax on, wax off“) !!

I was surprised to see M3nt0r and Ensellitis mention this as well. The Mr. Miyagi role in The Karate Kid (imdb) brought him an Oscar nomination for best support in 1985.
You only learn Miyagi-Do-Karate and the Crane-technique painting the fence and polishing the dream cars („Wax on, wax off“) !!

Most of us will remember as the Karate Kid master anyway. Part of my chilhood has gone today.
