The Departed

Just a blind guess, The Departed could dominate next year’s Oscars.

Globe nominations for Best Picture, Director, Actor (DiCaprio) and Best Support twice (Nicholson + Wahlberg, doesn’t deserve it) point in that direction.

Overall, The Departed is a high suspense Mafia thriller. Especially DiCaprio and Nicholson are performing really well, accompanied by plenty of Gimme Shelter by the Stones.

Only setback is it’s length of 151 minutes.

And just for the record, this is “only” a remake of the 2002 Hong Kong movie Infernal Affairs.
